Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

In short: Dial-In is a practice tool. Every prospect is an AI, and no real person is ever called. You're responsible for what you create and for following the law when you make real sales calls. Pro is a subscription you can cancel any time.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Dial-In (the “Service”), a sales-call practice app operated by Dial-in (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What Dial-In is

Dial-In lets you practice cold calls against AI-generated characters, which we call “prospects”. You speak or type, the prospect replies, and afterwards you receive an AI-written scorecard and feedback.

No call is ever placed to a real person, and no real person is on the other end of a practice call. We show a notice saying so before every call begins.

3. Your account

4. AI-generated content

Prospect replies and feedback are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate, unrealistic, or occasionally inappropriate. Scores and coaching are opinions meant to help you practice; they are not measurements of how a real prospect would react, and we don't promise any particular sales result.

Your words are sent to AI and voice service providers to generate replies, and transcripts are stored in your account. Please don't say or type sensitive personal information during practice calls, such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health details, or private details about other people.

5. Real-world calling is your responsibility

Dial-In is for practice only. When you make real calls, you alone are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, which may include do-not-call rules, telemarketing consent requirements, call-recording consent laws, and disclosure rules. Nothing in the Service is legal advice.

6. Community prospects

Pro members can create prospects that every user of the Service can see and call, credited to the creator's username.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, harass anyone, or interfere with it. In particular, don't:

8. Free and Pro plans

9. Your content

Your call transcripts and anything you type or say remain yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the Service: to generate replies, voices, and feedback, and to save your history. We don't use your call content to train AI models. The AI service that generates prospect replies and feedback (Anthropic) doesn't train on data sent through its business API by default.]

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, built-in prospects, and scoring methods, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in it beyond using the Service as described here.

11. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to run the Service, listed in our Privacy Policy. Speech recognition during calls is provided by your own browser, and its terms and privacy practices are set by your browser's maker.

12. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or if we have to stop offering the Service. When an account is deleted, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply after your account ends (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will improve your sales results.

14. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or [$100]. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived by law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs arising from a third-party claim caused by content you create in the Service or by your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least [14] days before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, and disputes will be handled in the courts located in the United States, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
