Privacy Policy

In short: we collect what's needed to run your account and your practice calls, we don't sell your data or show ads, we don't store audio recordings, and you can delete your account and its data yourself at any time.
1. Who we are
Dial-In is operated by Dial-in (“we”, “us”), You can reach us at dial.in.support99@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Account information | Your username (visible to other users), your email address (used only for account recovery and service messages), and your password, which is stored by our authentication provider in hashed form rather than in plain text. |
| Practice call content | What you say or type during calls (as text), the prospect's replies, call duration and outcome, and the AI-written scores and feedback. Pro members' calls are saved to their history. Free accounts' calls are processed to produce the scorecard. |
| Voice delivery | While you speak, your browser measures how you sound (volume, pitch variation, and pace) locally. Only a short text description, such as “normal volume, fast pace”, is sent to us and passed to the AI so the prospect can react. We never receive or store your audio. |
| Prospects you create | The name, role, personality text, and settings of any prospect you build, along with your username as creator. These are visible to all users. |
| Reports | If you report a prospect, we store your account ID and the reason you gave. |
| Billing information | Stripe handles payment. We store your plan status, renewal date, and an identifier linking your account to Stripe. We never see your full card number. |
| Technical information | Request counts used for rate limiting, and standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. |
We don't ask for your real name, phone number, or location.
3. How we use it
- to run the Service: sign you in, run practice calls, generate prospect replies, voices, and your scorecard, and save your history;
- to process your subscription and keep your Pro access accurate;
- to keep the Service safe: prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, review reported prospects, and fix problems;
- to contact you about your account, security, or important changes to the Service or these policies.
We don't sell your personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't run advertising or analytics trackers. "We don't use your call content to train AI models. The AI service that generates prospect replies and feedback (Anthropic) doesn't train on data sent through its business API by default."
4. Who processes your data
We use these service providers, who handle data only to provide their service to us:
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in: accounts, saved calls, prospects. |
| Vercel | Hosts the app and our server functions. |
| Anthropic | Generates prospect replies and your scorecard from the text of your call. |
| Google Cloud Text-to-Speech | Turns prospect replies into spoken audio. |
| Deepgram | Higher-quality prospect voices for Pro members. |
| Stripe | Payments and subscription billing. |
Your browser's speech recognition. When you speak, your browser converts your voice to text. In Chrome and some other browsers this is done by an online service run by the browser's maker (for example Google), under that company's own privacy policy and settings, not ours. If you'd rather not use it, you can type your lines instead.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (we'd tell you first).
5. What's public
Your username, and any prospects you create (including their personality text), are visible to every user. Your call history, transcripts, scores, and email are private to your account.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account and call history are kept until you delete them. “Clear history” in the History screen removes saved calls; deleting your account removes everything below.
- Deleting your account permanently removes your login, profile, saved calls, and the prospects you created, and cancels any active subscription. You can do this yourself from the account menu in the app. If you can't sign in, email dial.in.support99@gmail.com and we'll do it for you.
- What may remain after deletion: payment and tax records held by Stripe, which they're required to keep; encrypted backups that expire on a rolling schedule of about [30] days; and server logs, kept for about [30] days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to saved data is limited by per-user rules in our database, and payments are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Your choices and rights
Whatever your location, you can see and update your account details, delete your saved calls, and delete your account in the app, or ask us for help at dial.in.support99@gmail.com.
If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy, to correct it, and to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to the use of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We process your data to perform our contract with you (running the Service), for our legitimate interests in keeping it secure and working, and, where needed, with your consent.
9. Children
Dial-In is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. When you check out, you're taken to Stripe's site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
11. Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top.
